A key highlight in Term 3 was the launch event for the third volume of the VUSC student magazine Felicity which was released this term.
.Editor-in-Chief, Leanna Nguyen and the rest of the team organised a fantastic event in which key students came and completed public readings of their work. There were a wide range of pieces shared, from poetry inspired by Macbeth to research pieces on German Expressionist cinema. The readings were followed by a Q&A between Leanna and members of the team. These students shared the importance to being part of the Felicity team as part of their experience of attending VUSC and all that they have learned from their work in the group.
The event was an excellent showcase of the fantastic writing produced by students across the VUSC community and the team are to be commended on their efforts on the event. Current Year 9 students are encouraged to inquire about joining the magazine team in Term 4 during Step-Up when they arrive at the Senior Campus.
