Brimbank City Council alongside with some local artists recently invited some VUSC students to participate in a project to design and create a large mural to be installed at the Deer Park Library. This project was an initiative to reconnect the library with students in the community. It is hoped that their creative expression will begin to weave together this relationship and reclaim a safe space.
